Features *) :

• The fully automatic Porkka refrigeration units are assembled and tested in the factory. It only needs to be connected to the electrical supply. Standard units are suitable for tropical environment with temperature up to 43°C.
• The whole refrigeration unit can be replaced to change the cold room operating temperature if required.
• An efficient filter in front of the condenser extends the working period of the system and makes it easier to maintain.
• Defrosting of the forced air evaporator of the condensate water is automatic. The storage temperature is thermostatically controlled and a thermometer is provided to indicate the storage temperature.
• All insulated wall, floor and roof panels are injected with energy efficient polyurethane insulation with 100 mm thickness.
• All doors are fitted with a lock, and a robust gasket to prevent air ingress.
• A heater is fitted to the door frame to prevent the door gasket from freezing on low temperature applications. A relief valve iis also fitted to freezer operation.
• All Porkka doors are fitted with an internal safety release door latch.
• Standard cold rooms are supplied with non-slip floor for heavy duty application.
• Cold and chill temperature rooms can be supplied without a floor for trolley operation. Room for fish storage can be supplied with a special floor including drainage facility.
• Standard cold rooms are supplied with white coated steel interior and exterior panels. These panels are easy to be cleaned and maintenance.
• Optional stainless steel panels can be selected.
• Standard cold rooms (type 3.1-9.0) can be supplied with standard white powder coated steel or optional stainless steel for wall-mounted rack shelving. The maxi cold rooms (type 14-38) can be supplied with stainless steel self standing rack (modular rack shelving) as an additional order.
