THAI STEAMED FISH

By Chef Made - Gourmet House

Servings : 4 - 5 persons

Ingredients :

1 pound Red Snapper
¾ cup fish stock
1 tablespoon sliced garlic
1 ½ tablespoons sliced leek
1 ½ tablespoons sliced onion
4 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon lime juice
25 tablespoons sliced red chilli
2 pieces sliced bird's eye chili
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon A1 sauce
1 teaspoon chicken powder
½ teaspoons coriander leaves
1 teaspoon sugar

Marinating Herbs : salt, lime juice, pepper

Directions :

  1. Marinate the fish with the marinating herbs.
  2. Prepare the sauce;
    saute garlic, put in leek, onion, ginger, red chili, bird's eye chili, coriander leaves,
    add in fish stock, lime juice, fish sauce, A1 sauce, chicken powder and sugar.
  3. Prepare a platter wrapped with aluminium foil. Put the fish on the platter.
  4. Marinate fish with the sauce.
  5. Steam for 15 minutes. The fish is ready to be served.
