Novotel has its first establishment already in Sudirman, and it is impossible to have the second one close to the vicinity. Hence the next and new Novotel is a Novotel Suites situated in the downtown part of Yogyakarta, Malioboro.

The culinary establishment “Food Exchange” signifies four pillars where the culinary worldwide cross. The kitchen is fitted with equipment from Nayati and the contracting is done by Restomart.

“This kitchen is not too big and not too small, but we have a complete range of equipment. We can cook and grill next to each other, and we can cook Western or Asian cuisine by merely crossing the kitchen aisle,” says Ari Yusuf as the Executive Chef.

“Because with the concept of the menu that I craft, I have to plan the kitchen layout accordingly. I met and discussed with Restomart, addressing what kind of setup I want. They made the plan drawing and any other necessary document until it takes shapes to become the kitchen it is now, really helpful in my operational workflow,” as he concluded the interview.
